My name is Mareem, and I’m reaching out with an urgent plea for help on behalf of my dear friend, Sara, a talented henna artist, and now a mother to a 4-month-old baby—both struggling to survive amid the unimaginable destruction in Gaza.
Before the war, Sara lived a simple, beautiful life. She supported herself with her art, while her sister worked as a florist. But everything changed after October 7th. Their home was destroyed. Their livelihoods were erased. And now, they are among the countless families displaced by a war that has devastated 95% of Gaza.
Today, Sara has no shelter, no income, no clean drinking water, and very little access to the basics needed to care for her newborn. Every day is a fight for survival.
This fundraiser is to help Sara and her family with:
Clean water, baby formula, diapers, and food Emergency shelter and medical needs Essentials for survival amid war Support to rebuild when the time comes
